Learning outcomes
The subject Somatopedia 2 continues and builds on the theoretical foundations that were introduced in the subject Somatopedia 1. The aim of the subject Somatopedia 2 is to familiarize with the psychological, health and social aspects of working with people with mobility limitations, the possibilities of their application in special pedagogy (somatopedia) and deepen knowledge of some fields in the field of healthcare. In addition to the theoretical framework, the teaching also includes the training of practical skills and the presentation of some specialized methodologies related to the therapy and care of people with limited mobility. Teaching theses: "Psychosocial issues of people with limited mobility (physical, psychological and social needs of children with limited mobility, models of the process of coping with a physical disability and serious illness, the issue of terminal illness, family issues for children with limited mobility, the influence of the visibility of the disability on its bearers). " Medical and nursing aspects of physical disabilities and diseases (characteristics of cerebral palsy, congenital developmental defects, epilepsy, diabetes mellitus and other basic disabilities and diseases from the field of somatopathies).
