Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is insight into the issues of the special pedagogical discipline of deafpedia, which is a prerequisite for determining the general foundations and theoretical starting points for working with individuals with hearing impairment. The content of the course includes the theoretical basis of deafpedia, which results from the relevant special pedagogical and medical disciplines, deafpedic terminology, explanations of general audiological terms necessary for orientation in deafpedic issues, a historical perspective on the education of people with hearing impairments, the characteristics and application of basic compensatory aids for individuals with hearing impairment, practical basics of communication systems for people with hearing impairment. Teaching theses: " Deafpedics as a special pedagogical discipline. Introduction to deafpedic terminology. "Hearing defects from the point of view of audiology. Classification of persons with hearing impairment. Etiology of hearing disorders. History of care for persons with hearing impairment. " Technical and compensatory aids.
