|
The aim of this course is to master the practical skills in care for adult person with visual impairment. Students will learn about the specific approaches and specific aspects of life of senior persons with visual impairment. Topics: ? Methodology and practice of self-care activities for persons with visual impairment that developed during adulthood. ? Methodology of practice of reading Braille for persons with visiual impairment acquired in adulthood. ? Methodology of teaching spatial orientation and independent movement with persons with visual impairment acquired in adulthood. ? Study of seniors with visual impairment. ? Impact of visual impairment on psychological state of seniors. Cooperation of institution providing services for visually impaired persons and family of an adult with visual impairment
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
