Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this courset is to acqaint students with the field of study of Special Education. Students will be introduced to basic concepts for better orientation in further study of subsequent special education disciplines. Topics: " Basic concepts in the field of Special Education. " Historical overview of the development of Special Education - important contirbutors " Development of Special Education terminology, contemporary terminology used in the Czech Republic and abroad " Major paradigm shift in the field of Czech Special Education; contemporary trends in Special Education. " Development of social status of persons with handicap or disability. " Socialization of persons with handicap or disability from psychological and special education perspectives -significant perceptual shift in regards to socialization of persons with handicap and disability. Quality of life of persons with handicap or disability.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
