The discipline treats the system and functioning of the counselling.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to define the field of pediatrics in the following aspects: field of study, statistical indicators, system of institutions. Topics: - Pediatrics ? field of study, statistical indicators, organization in the Czech Republic - Specifics of childhood, growth and development. Individual developmental stages. - Social pediatrics. Psychosomatic illnesses. - Pediatric propaedeutics ? basic examination methods used in early childhood care. - Explanation of principles of basic physical, laboratory and imaging examination methods. - Basics of lay nursing care in pediatrics. - Critical periods of child development in relation to subsequent need of Early childhood special education intervention.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
