The group of interest and the purpose of speech therapy ? the position of SLT in the system of sciences, the concept of impaired communication ability (communication disability) (WHO - ICF, ICD 10. and 11. Revision and DSM V.) and the conception of SLT worldwide. The history of the development of communication disability treatment - a brief overview of individual stages related to the current concept.
