Learning outcomes
|
Course describes fundamental orientation in Special Education of People with Intellectual Disabilities. In course will be presented actual knowledge in the field of Intellectual Disabilities with connection to the education and assessment methods. Main focus of the course will be placed on the DSM 5 and ICD-11 and the terminology connected with assessment. Through the course the students will be become acquainted with terms as a mental retardation, mental disorders and mental illness. Focus will be placed also on specific aspects of inclusion and phenomenon connected with this.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
