Course content
The discipline treats the system and functioning of the counselling.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Aims: Students will gain insight into the basics of counselling; will gain knowledge about the system and legislative framework. They will be acquainted with different types of counselling within the school system and outside of it. They will learn the professional competencies of special education counsellors and basic job description. Topics: " Principles of counselling and Special Ecuation " Multidisciplines in counselling " System of counselling sites, job description and competencies. " School counselling " Principles of counselling intervention " Principles of counselling and diagnostics. " Professional competencies of a counsellor " Counselling - education counselling centres, counselling in healthcare system, counselling within Ministry of Labor. Social Services Act, social services.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
