The discipline treats the system and functioning of the counselling.

Learning outcomes
Aims: Modern trends in the area of education and development of persons with special needs. In the context of individual types of health diasbilities, Special Education (SE) students will increase their professional competencies with emphasis on technical compensatory aids and assistive technologies. Introduction of basic concepts of e-Accessability and eIintegration. Student will be able to: " Explain the modern contemporary trends in the area of education and development of persons with specific needs. " Describe the professional competencies of special educators specialized in ICT; " Describe the technical compensatory aids and assistive technologies within the context of various types of health disabilities. " Explain the basic concepts of e-Accessability and eInclusion. Topics: " Introduction of the field of ICT and assistive technologies. " e- Accessibility and eInclusion of persons with specific needs. " Digital barriers " Specific aspects of use of ICT in education process for persons with special needs. " Internet and communication of persons with special needs. " Distant learning of persons with special needs. " Accessibility of electronic documents " Use of assistive technologies in SE for persons with limited mobility " Use of assistive technologies in SE for persons with autism spectrum disorder " Use of assistive technologies in SE for persons with developmental learning disorders Use of assistive technologies in SE for persons with hearing impairment
