Course content

Consolidation and development of basic grammar at A1 - B1 level. Summary and practice of general vocabulary stock. Development of all four language skills. Focus on proper pronunciation and language accurracy. Spelling in English and phonemic alphabet. The basics of ELT methodology.

Students should be able to: - use given grammatical items in oral and written production, - react in English in everyday situations, - express simple ideas in oral and written production, - know proper pronunciation and use adequate vocabulary in everyday situations, - know basic terminology in pre-school education, - use basic 'classroom language' phrases.
