Learning outcomes
After completing the course students should be able to: - analyze the influence of selected pedagogical theories on the understanding of literacy; - Specify the relationship between reading and functional literacy; - Categorize basic aspects of reading literacy; - summarize basic reading strategies and the possibilities of their development; - to assess the results of international literacy research in terms of their contribution to pedagogical practice; - to assess the possibilities of applying the principles of receptive aesthetics in literary education; - to defend the aesthetic-educational function of the artistic text; - to assess the research of the reception of the artistic text and their influence on the selection of specific literary samples for individual types of pupils; - to evaluate and justify the position of poetry in literary education; - to defend the principles of literary education that put the student in the forefront and his personal interpretation as a path to cognition.
