Introduction to the basics of stylistics and lexicology. Mutual interconnection of both disciplines. Application of the knowledge gained through individual studying in linguistic practice.

Systems of functional styles, styles of spoken and written communication, functions of style-forming factors, stylistic utilization of individual linguistic strategies, construction of linguistic communication, composition, the issue of bookishness and loquacity.
