|
Literature for children and youth (LDM) and its place in national literature, specific features, functions and meaning. Text selection, link to reading and reading categories. Basic terminology, relation of LDM to folk literature and its genres, collecting folklore activity. Representation of genres and genre variants in LDM from the point of view of literary types (fairy tales, myths, legends, legends, fables, adventure literature, fantasy, sci-fi, a story with a child hero, historical themes, biographies). Important works and their creators in the context of intentional Czech and world LDM, adaptation of literary texts for young readers. LDM's connection to other artistic areas (theater, music, fine arts, film, etc.). Outline of the literary-historical development of LDM in the context of Czech national literature. Educational and art-creating work for children and youth. Literature for children and youth in a social context (publishing, literary prizes, competitions and projects, professional research of LDM, etc.).
