Course content
|
The subject is focused on the standard of pronunciation, the use of sound devices of the language, the breath and voice component of speech, extra-linguistic factors, training in expressive delivery, etc. Students are expected to have a creative approach to problem solving. Special attention is paid to the application of psychological, sociological and pedagogical aspects. Speaker-listener relationship. Language diplomacy. Verbal and non-verbal communication. Practicing an impressive presentation of known and unknown text. Discussion, discussion management, dialogue management, issues of appropriate argumentation. Analysis of concrete and fictitious situations. Application of speech in the work area, success in establishing contact, emphasizing positive facts (positive personal image), introducing yourself and the workplace. Verbal self-defense (constructiveness and destructiveness), formulation of comments and criticism. Main shortcomings in communication.
