Course content
|
The content of the course consists of basic information from the field - GENERAL LINGUISTICS, - PHONETICS and PHONOLOGY, - LEXICOLOGY, - MORPHOLOGY a - SPELLING. The required knowledge and skills are the necessary theoretical basis for the didactic transformation of topics into school practice.

Learning outcomes
|
The required knowledge and skills are the necessary theoretical basis for the didactic transformation of topics into school practice.
After completing the course, the student should be able to: - Divide linguistics into sub-disciplines and define them, define language, include Czech in the system of world languages, stratify language units, define language norms and codification, give examples of codification manuals. - Define sound and phoneme, describe the origin of speech, describe correct and incorrect pronunciation, speech defects, phonetic changes, classify sounds according to sound, place and method of creation, describe sound means of continuous speech. - Define vocabulary, describe the principles of vocabulary change (especially vocabulary enrichment), describe the meaning relationships between words, the signification and non-signification of words, explain the word-forming analysis of a word. - Define basic morphemes, explain word inflection, morphological analysis of word structure, classify words from a morphological, semantic and syntactic point of view, explain and distinguish linguistic categories and paradigms of parts of speech, categorize parts of speech, describe the gradation of adjectives and adverbs. - Divide spelling according to types and assign specific spelling rules to them, state algorithms of spelling phenomena.

Prerequisites
|
The subject follows the matriculation level of knowledge and skills in the field of grammar, lexicology and spelling, which is taken as entry knowledge and skills.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Written exam
CREDIT - written verification of practical skills in the field of lexicology, morphology and spelling based on knowledge of algorithms, knowledge of relevant Latin terminology. EXAM - oral verification of theoretical knowledge in the field of linguistics, lexicology, morfology, phonetics and phonology, graphemics and spelling.
