Learning outcomes
Pupils' reading strategies and possibilities of their development. The use of RWCT methods. Literacy research (PIRLS) and the possibilities of using their results in teaching. Interpretation of an artistic text. Application of modern teaching methods in the interpretation of literary works. Methods of active and cooperative learning of pupils. Reading workshops and reading records. Creation, creativity and experience in literary education. Projects to promote reading. Working with information resources. Developing cross-curricular relationships in the context of reading fiction texts. Current issues in literary education at primary school level 1. Overview and characteristics of literary types and genres and their use in teaching. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - Orient themselves in the above mentioned topics; - Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills in the field of didactics of literature through the preparation of worksheets and related methodologies for teaching.

Course completion requirements: Credit - verification of practical skills in didactics of literature: creation of a set of worksheets focused on working with an artistic text using the E-U-R structure, critical thinking methods and active learning of students. Examination - oral verification of orientation in the topics listed in the course annotation.
