Course content
Topics: Standards for Secondary Schools. Labour Code. School documentation. Educational program of the subject. Teacher preparation for teaching at primary and secondary schools. Pedagogical diagnostics of pupils. Learning objectives and learning tasks. Assessment of textbooks. Reflection of continuous pedagogical practice. Student Self-reflection in the Context of Contemporary Practice 1 and Contemporary Practice 2. The organizational form of the subject will be a repetitorium - a consultative meeting of student groups with relevant teachers of school didactics. At the state final examination of Teacher competence, the student presents a portfolio of completed pedagogical practices 1 and 2. Department tasks: Development of reading literacy at elementary school: form and function of school library, school magazine as a project, realization of reading workshops at school, cooperation with local library, form and function of teachers library, thinking, etc.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course students should be able: - to apply knowledge from didactics, pedagogical diagnostics, psychology and other related subjects, - to work with pedagogical documentation in the preparation of the lessons, - to define the teaching strategy, propose appropriate methods and procedures, - to recognize pupils' personalities, including their possible educational problems, and to propose solutions for educational situations, - to know the duties of a class teacher, - to evaluate pupils' results, - to use textbooks and other teaching aids in the teaching process, - to design a project to implement a selected cross-cutting theme, - to reflect the results of own realized outputs, - to analyze and evaluate random hours based on the use of a record sheet, - to tax the teaching goals and learning tasks from doubts and own lessons, to process the portfolio according to the requirements, - to synthesize the knowledge from the subjects of the module of pedagogical competence and experience from the passed pedagogical practice, - to verify the relationship of theoretical knowledge of pedagogical and psychological disciplines and didactics on the basis of situations experienced in teaching practice - to reflect personal experience from practice on the basis of observation of non-hearing hours and own outputs, - to compare their idea of the profession with the reality of school practice and the experiences and opinions of educators, - to draw from the observation of the various teaching styles of teachers a positively applicable methods etc. for their own practice, - to assess the behavior of pupils and to address possible educational problems, - to explain and evaluate observed sentences in a school practice, - to perform self-reflection in the context of Continuous Practices 1 and 2, - to assess the importance of practice for forming the bases of own pedagogical competencies.
