|
Periodisation of language development from the beginning of Czech as a language of literacy. Language differentiation (Proto-Czech, Old Czech, Middle Czech, New Czech). Development of Czech dialects. On-line support of chosen topics from syntactic and lexical development of Czech language. Seminars aimed at text analysis of Old Czech texts.

After completing the course students should be able to: - language analysis of Old Czech, New Bohemian and dialectal texts, - to describe the basic cultural and historical context of the historical development of the Czech language from the period of the Czech language as a literary language to the contemporary Czech language, - Define and clarify the basic system of Czech and Czech language changes in the individual language levels of Czech, - analyze individual layers of unscriptural speech.
