The subject of the 19th Century Literature 1 is based on the basic requirements of the Framework Education Program for Basic Education and aims to bring students into the cross-curricular subjects with literary texts so that the students are able to approach the development of romantic culture in accordance with the cultural and educational, and aesthetic-educational function of the literary text in the elementary school pupil dimension. We want students to understand through the selected texts of Czech and world literature in the first half of the 19th century how to fulfill the communication goals of literary education with respect to our present and especially everyday life.
