Experiential learning and development of reader literacy. Selection of texts suitable for stimulating text comprehension and forming a positive relationship between pre-school age children and books and reading. Methods, didactic games and educational materials contributing to the development of reading literacy. Educational activities and projects to develop reader literacy.

After completing the course students should be able to: - to verify the understanding of texts in preschool children, - select texts appropriate for the development of pre-school children's reader literacy, - assess appropriate methodological practices, didactic games and other activities leading to the development of reader literacy of pre-school children, - to create practical examples of educational activities supporting the development of reading literacy of preschool children, - implement appropriate methods and strategies to develop reader's programming training in educational activities in nursery schooling.
