Two streams of Czech literature of the 2nd half of the 20th century - official and non-official (national samizdat and exile literature), developing tendencies in prose, poetry and drama, genres and significant authors. Major works of the given time period.

This course describes Czech literature originating in the 2nd half of the 20th century. Topics include: stylistic and thematic changes in prose and poetry, official and underground literature, literature in exile, dogmatisms of the socialist ideology.
