General characteristics of Czech language (analysis and description of language levels). Stratification of national language. Liteary language, interdialects, dialects, sociolects. Physiology and analysis of organs of speech. Articulation and classification of sounds. Sound aids of spoken discourse. Principles of orthoepic pronunciation. Graphic system of Czech language. Ratio of pronunciation and orthography. Word and denomination. Word meaning. Word formation. Categories, types and processes of word formation. Composition. Abbreviation. Formal and functional morfology. Grammatical categories of upper and lower class. Substantives, adjectives, pronouns, numerals, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, particles, interjections.
