Course content
The foundations, functions, and content structure of literature for children. The specific features of children's literature, and its place in national literature. The characteristics of the most common genres of children's literature, their development and current status (folk and artistic poetry, folk and authorial fairy-tales, stories with child heroes, artistic- and popular-science fiction). The issue of literary kitsch in children's literature. Improving skills in the interpretation of artistic texts.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The course equips students with techniques for stimulating the literary creativity of children. Sensitivity, flexibility, originality, problem solving, cognitive training, personality development, empathy.
