Course content
Acknowledge with the basic facts about lexicology and word formation, development trends in lexicology and contemporary lexicology.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)

  • Homework for Teaching - 100 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 65 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Czech lexicon as an open system. Its subsystems and structure. Stable centre and dynamic periphery. Paradigmatic and sytangatic relations between lexical items.
