Course content
Introduction - acknowledgement of basic terms. Practical part - testing of PC literacy. Internet - computer network. Protocols TPC/IP. WWW, hypertext. Hypertext literature. Practical part - work with hypertext. Searching - searching on the Internet, browsers. Practical part - searching for given topic using more resources. Internet resources for Czech language, E-books. Practical part - searching for E-books, reading. MS Word - its use in teaching - possibilities of work, topics, work with text editor etc. Graphic editors - creating study materials for teaching Czech language. Practical part - creation of simple study material using available graphic editor. HW and SW for presentations, their use in teaching. Practical part - creation of simple study material in MS PowerPoint. Creating web pages. Practical part - creation of web page in given programme. Web 2.0 - instruments of Web 2.0 and their use. Multimedia for Czech language education. Use of music multimedia in Czech language teaching. Practical part - work with multimedia - test, music therapy etc. Educational programmes, educational programmes for Czech language teaching. Practical part - work with teaching programme. E-communication. Practical part - use of NetMeeting, chat. Teaching On-line. E-learning. LMS Unifor, Moodle - use within teaching online. Practical part - work with on-line teaching programmes ("Škola za školou" project etc.).

Using IT, internet, multimedia in teaching Czech language. Topics in clude: searching relevant webpages, preparing teaching materials, webpage creation and editing, network communication.
