Course content
Course description and content: A seminar aimed at theoretical and practical aspects of use of ICT in Czech language teaching. Basic terms. Searching on the Internet. Resources (review and analysis of web pages devoted to Czech language). Multimedia (CD-ROMs, education SW, education programmes, e-books, music media). ICT in language, literature and communication teaching; inter-subject relations. Design of study materials with ICT use (hypertext, media, graphic programmes), Web design, making presentations, e-communication, e-learning (off/on-line, projects). Tools of Web 2.0 in Czech language teaching. Social networks and multiple users virtual systems in Czech language teaching.

Course outcomes: To define basic terms of ICT, To assess possibilities of ICT usage in language, literature and communication, and within the framework of inter-subject relations, To distinguish between work of printed text and hypertext, To classify basic SW applications applicable in Czech language teaching, To design optimal e-learning tools for Czech language teaching, To state pros and contras in use of ICT in Czech language teaching.
