Learning outcomes |
The seminar focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of the use of information technology (ICT) in teaching and learning mother tongue. On the theoretical level, it is about acquainting with the basic concepts of the field, the essence of electronic communication, e-literacy, online and offline information resources and multimedia and the basics of e-learning. The practical level focuses on the preparation and creation of study materials for teaching mother tongue (working with hypertext and multimedia applications), creation of internet pages and presentations and preparation of more complex e-learning learning objects in a 3D virtual learning environment. After completing the course students should be able to: Define basic concepts in ICT; to highlight the pros and cons of using ICT in mother tongue education; to clarify the essence of eLearning and to apply the methods of its development in education; to analyze and apply the basic use of ICT in the individual components of the mother tongue (grammar, literature, style and communication) and within the inter-subject relations; to clarify the nature of the difference between work with linear printed texts and electronic hypertexts; Classify basic software applications useful for teaching the Czech language; design optimized e-learning tools for teaching the Czech language; Topics: Basic concepts of ICT. Internet search. Internet resources for mother tongue. Multimedia for the mother tongue. Tutorials and learning software for the mother tongue area. Use of ICT in the teaching of individual components of the mother tongue (grammar, literature, style and communication education) and in media education. E-literacy and methods of its development. Language of electronic communication (social networks, electronic conferences, chat etc.). Creation of study materials (working with hypertext, graphic and multimedia programs). Creation of Internet Pages (Teacher Portfolio). E-learning in mother tongue education. 3D Virtual Reality in Language Education.
