This subject explores selected titles of nineteenth-century literature from around the world. Emphasis is mainly on working with a literary work of art, its active reception, and examining both its literary and non-literary context.

|
This subject explores selected titles from nineteenth-century literature around the world. Emphasis is mainly on working with a literary work of art, its active reception, and examining both its literary and non-literary contexts. Attention is focused on the composition of a literary work (motives, the narrator, the characters, setting, composition?), its literary devices, and its place within a larger literary context.
