Course content
Framework education program for basic education - educational area Czech language and literature, cross-sectional themes, key competencies. Readers for elementary school. Literary communication - author, literary text, reader. Reader literacy and the possibilities of its development. Methods of reading literacy development. Pupils' reading strategies and their support. Theoretical principles of literary interpretation of the artistic text. Criteria for selecting adequate text. Learning outcomes of the course unit Didactic interpretation of concrete examples from artistic literature. Assessment and classification in literary education.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students should be able to: - to assess and evaluate the communication concept of literary education, - compare the educational and literary teaching concepts of literary education, - to analyze and apply in teaching the main prerequisites of aesthetics, - explain the developmental stages of reading, its current problems and propose solutions, - to explain the specifics of pedagogical communications in literary education, - to summarize the basic conditions for pupil literacy development, - use teaching methods to support pupils' reading strategies and assess their importance, - to apply in the teaching of literature the activation methods and methods of reading literacy, - demonstrate the ability to select the text of adequate maturity and student maturity of pupils, - to propose a procedure of didactic interpretation of the artistic text, - summarize the possibilities of evaluation in literary education.

Credit requirements for winter semester 2024: 1. Active participation in the seminar (maximum 2 absences). 2. Continuous completion of partial tasks assigned in the seminar and their submission at the end of the semester. 3. Completion of one Friday hearing at ZŠ Nedvědova (according to the schedule). 4. Drafts of two reading lessons with two literary samples (prose and poetry) - worksheet and methodical manual according to the assignment. Students with an approved individual study plan (ISP): - participation in classes of at least 25%; - fulfillment of partial seminar tasks; - fulfillment of other possible tasks compensating for non-participation in face-to-face teaching.
