Course content
1. Communication Education and stylistics teaching in the Czech language teaching at first stage of primary school. 2. The current concept of stylistics teaching at primary school, methods and forms. 3. Working with the syllabus, the transition from reproduction to production, a system of exercises. 4. Description and narrative forms of the written and spoken language, stage of training. 5. The integration of the various components Czech language and literature at the first stage of primary school. 6. Integrating educational areas in the Czech language lessons at first stage of primary school. 7. Creation of educational materials focusing on the use of methods of work with text (for example, Critical thinking) and integration (miniprojects and projects). 8. Methodological support for Czech language teachers (textbooks, internet portals, outputs from projects, publications, etc.).

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with contemporary tendencies in Czech language teaching at elementary school. To create and develop pedagogical abilities. To inform about educational methods and teaching materials for Czech language and Composition teaching at primary school. Morphology, syntax, Communication and Composition education, preparing lesson of comunication education. Work with a concept, reproduction and its importace, phases of training, description, narration, genres of written and spoken discourse. Didactic games and methods of activisation.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Know and use basic literature of the field, - Characterize the object of Czech language at primary school and its individual components, - Demonstrate knowledge of techniques, forms of work and exercises used in language teaching with a focus on stylistic teaching and communication education and apply it to the selected curriculum, - Know the current system of stylistics teaching at primary school and in particular the first stage of primary school, to be able to use multiple exercises during the transition from reproduction to production, - Use of motivational exercises and methods when working with text and information (methods of critical thinking etc.), - Find and use the possibilities for integrating components of Czech language and educational areas    (miniproject etc.). - Clarify the issue of assessment and classification of the subject and be able to use their skills in the correction and classification of the selected language curriculum.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work

Compliance with the conditions laid down by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Attendance (90%), continuous tasks: - Sample preparation for Czech lessons with a focus on the presentation and practice of the particular subject matter of the stylistics, - Suggestions for integrating components of the Czech language at first stage of primary school, - Example of use of selected methods of critical thinking in teaching Czech language - Sample preparation for Czech lessons focusing on the integration of educational areas, - Characteristics of selected publications aimed at activating methods in teaching Czech language at first stage of primary school, - Mastery of subject matter Czech language and literature of first stage of primary school in the form of a test. Other ongoing tasks as needed.
