After completing the course students should be able to: - to define the historical and cultural importance of Prague as the capital city and the most important landmark of the Czech Republic, - to name significant historical monuments in Prague, - Demonstrate on the map of the city the most important places associated with the history and culture of the city, - Describe at least some important places associated with the life or temporary residence of known personalities In Prague, especially with a focus on literature and theater, but also on culture in a wider context, - to characterize the importance of Charles University and to orientate itself in the location of its basic components on the territory of the city, - to estimate the demands made by the preparation of the excursion to the organizer of the event - for example, when preparing a school excursion during the primary school, - summarize the benefits of excursion for your personal development, - summarize the lessons learned during an excursion and write an essay expressing their personal relationship to the city and assessing the course of the excursion.
