Course content
Getting acquainted with the opinions about teaching art education in the history of Czech creative pedagogy. Analysis of developmental phases of children's creative expression and its attributes. Position of art education within the Frame educational programme for primary schools. Contemporary educational trends regarding art education and their representatives. Theme in art education, art lines and projects. Kinds and organization of creative activities.

Learning outcomes
Present forms of art education curriculum, syllabus creation. Kinds and organization of activities in art education, structure of art education lesson unit and link between its components. Methods and principles of art education teaching - creative project. Preparation for the art education teaching, resolution of model situations, analyses of children's creative works. Creative techniques and materials in the primary school art education.
The basic pedagogical competence in Arts and Culture.
Prerequisites
Basic knowlendge of reducational terminology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Seminar Work

Presentation and delivery of the seminar work /art line/; participation in seminars 80%. Consultations.
