Course content
Artwork - its formal, technical and contentual components, broader analysis in terms of interdisciplinary relationships. Excursion within the contemporary creative art events. Public space and its visual effects. Important artworks, ways of their reconnaissance (age, technology, mark, authenticity, forgery). Possibilities of their legal protection and renovation. Antiquities as the subject of collecting and trading.

Learning outcomes
The meaning of image analysis is to approximate the artwork, its formal, technical and contentual components. Broader analysis in terms of interdisciplinary relationships. Analysis of the artwork and its interpretation in terms of purport and expression considering historical and philosophical as well as sociological aspects. Artwork as a symbol and character. Material and technological components of artwork, its visual means and the way to stylistic classification and author determination of single artefacts. Excursion within the contemporary creative art events. Public space and its visual effects.
Ability to complete work of art perception and mediation of his qualities in the teaching and other professional work

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Seminar Work

Participation in seminars 80%, presentation, study of literature.
