The division of the Czecho-Slovak Federal Republic and the constitution of the political system of the Czech Republic. The international development on the threshold of the 21st century. The involvement of the Czech Republic in international organizations. The membership of the Czech Republic in the EU and engagement in the NATO. Up-to-date problems of contemporary world and the role of the Czech foreign policy.
