Learning outcomes
The aim is to understand the complexity of interpersonal, group and mass forms of communication and their interdependence with regard to the differences of cultures in Europe and the world to the continuing process of globalization with specific effects on the rationality of human behavior. Students will learn basic categories, models, concepts and methods necessary to study the sociology of communication. They will know the terminology and have adequate theoretical knowledge necessary to analyze and interpret the transformation of digital communications environment.
