Course content
Topics: Contents of framework educational programs; individual thematic units of educational fields; cross-cutting themes and key competencies related to the content focus of Citizenship Education and Civic and Social Science Basics, with an emphasis on methodological concepts, the creation of activities, and the preparation of one's own teaching practice. Placing subjects in the context of the Czech vision of education, comparison with foreign approaches.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to: " analyze the content of the educational fields of Citizenship Education and Civic and Social Studies, " create a set of their own activities for all thematic units of the field, " create proposals for activities and tasks for the development of key competencies and cross-curricular themes within the social sciences; " evaluate the position of the subjects within a comprehensive view of secondary education.

Assessment methods and criteria
unspecified
Participation in consultations, completion of assigned tasks, self-study - preparation for credit and exam. Students will receive credit before the exam based on a seminar assignment completed according to the instructor's instructions. The exam is comprehensive in nature, reflecting the student's knowledge in the scope of KVK1 and KVK2. The exam is in written form with open and closed questions.
