Course content
|
Applied Ethics and its position in the field of science ethics. Applied Ethics in relation to the following areas or institutions: school, family, economics, medical sciences, law, civil society, democracy, human rights, environment, gender. Creating ethical codes and their meanings. University ethical principles.

Learning outcomes
|
The course will be emphasis on areas of applied ethics, which relate to the current educational reality, society and democracy. Students will become familiar with various parts of social life, and their links with the ethical theories, learn important values for specific areas and will be able to specify examples of ethical behavior in a given context. After completing the course, students should be able to: " Define basic terms of applied ethics, " Clarify the functioning of contemporary society and their moral and ethical values in different sectors, " Explain the nature of relations between ethics and other social science disciplines, " Concretize examples of ethical theories to designated areas, " Assess the impact of ethical behavior in specific communities.
Interconnection of applied ethics in educational practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Students are expected to study continuously perform subtasks on assigned topics, which will correspond with other studied areas within the contact teaching. These tasks will be to surrender deadlines for review via e-mail.
