Course content
Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Senate of the Czech Republic. History of Parliamentarism in the Czech Lands and European context. Constitutional and political system of the Czech Republic after 1993. Political party spirit in the Czech Republic after 1989. Competences of Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Senate of the Czech Republic. Legislative proces.

Learning outcomes
The main goal of subject is get to know students with development of parliamentarism in the Czech Lands in the wider European context and the present structure of Czech Parliament including the form of legislative proces. After the finishing will be students able to: - define structure of constitutional system of the Czech Republic - clarify role and competences Parliament and Senate in constitutional system of the Czech Republic - characterize political system of the Czech Republic - asses role of Parliament and Senate in political system of the Czech Republic - analyse and evaluate role of political parties in political system of the Czech Republic
Ability to organizationally and professionally secure excursion with politics theme.

Awareness about political system of the Czech Republic

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation on excursion, worksheet. Students within individual preparation and studios familiar with methodological materials for the course and literature (including the Constitution), which binds to the development of parliamentarianism in Czech countries in the European context. For the credit draw students seminar work on selected topics related to the issue of parliamentarism.
