Political culture concept of various authors

Learning outcomes
The subject is intended for those students who are interested in analyses of political life, just as in possible definitions and ways of understanding the notion of "political culture" which is one of the most popular, and at the same time rather controversial in political science. 1. Classic conception of political culture according to Gabriel Almond and Sydney Verba, Lucian Pye. 2. New definitions of political culture I - Sydney Verba, Lucian Pye. 3. New definitions of political culture II - Lowell Dittmer, Stephen Chilton, Karl Rohe. 4. Inquiries concerning communist political cultures. 5. Political culture in the grid-group theory. 6. Culture by Samuel Huntington and Francis Fukuyama. 7. Culture in social reality. 8. Political culture and types of culturalistic explanation. 9. Political culture in countries with different historical and soical conditions. 10. Pillars of our culture according to E. Mistrík. 11. Challenges for multicultural education.
