Learning outcomes
The course Economics analyzes cooperation and situations, which appear among consumers, companies and the state. We start with microeconomics, continue with macroeconomics and economic policy, use examples from the practice and the current situation in our country and the world.

Student performance

Scope of students' individual work is approx 64 hours.Working with PC, Internet connection.Selected topics are subject to consultations, which have the character of tutorials. Compulsory and active participation at consultations. So called guided self-study, including preparation for consultations - tutorials (student is methodically guided by a lecturer. Available at: http://knihovna.upol.cz/ff_scripta/zaklady_ekonomie.pdfStudents' individual work: written theses of various character - according to student's choice:-Work in a group and elaboration of a project, related to work of educationists on a relevant topic, elaboration of a budget, preparation of its administrative as well as material part.The objective is to teach students how to independently prepare grant application. Initially will be experience from the ESF - Centre of Innovative Education project. The extent of common work on a project will correspond with the project assignment, according to the agency requirements. Each student's contribution must be demonstrable. Accuracy of filling out will be evaluated, which will be preceded by studying manuals, selected topic and student's own contribution.- Written thesis on any economic topic, which the student is to creatively select - it must however pertain to applied economics, i.e. a practical topic, which can further be used in teaching economics. The extent of written thesis: 5 pages, A4 format. Topic and literature selection: part of consultation, where student presents a proposal for approval. Initial literature: see study literature.Evaluation of students' individual tasks and correction of information acquired through self-study at consultations or through electronic mail.
