Course content
Framework themes: - Teaching history in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia - Teaching in 1948 and their conception - The period of normalization and historical lessons - History textbook in 1948-1989 - Changes in history teaching in 1989 - Regional history and its place in the historiographical school

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Preparation for the Exam - 30 hours per semester

  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students when they graduate seminars able to: - Know and understand the problems associated with the teaching of history in different historical periods of the Czech lands - Reflect changes in history teaching in terms of historical trends and requirements to that discipline - Interpret and analyze methods and - To prepare their own presentation

Prerequisites
Clear knowledge of the history of the Czech lands.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

participation and activity in seminars, submission of term paper.
