Course content
Formation of the Czech statehood in the Middle Ag. Golden Bull of Sicily. Personality of Charles IV. and rise of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown. Czech Estate in the 15. and 16. Century. Renewed Land Land's Constitution 1627 and 1628. National revival. Czech State Law. Rise of Czechoslovakia 1918. Constitution from the year 1920. Period of the years 1918-1939. Czechoslovakia after the year 1945 a 1948. Reformative proces of Prague Spring 1968. Restoration of civil society after the year 1989 and restoration of the Czech statehood in the year 1993.

Learning outcomes
Goal of subject is get to know students with the crucial events, personalities and documents of Czech history of 20th. The attention is pay to influence of these facts on the form of the Czech statehood and character of the Czech society in the past and the present. After the finishing will be students able to: - define crucial events of the contemporary Czech history - clarify relation important historical turning points of Czech history to the present - explain the role of important personalities of the Czech history on the formation of the Czech statehood - enumarate and characterize the most important personalities of the Czech history - analyse, evaluate of the Czech statehood development
Competences, which corresponding with extent of goals setting in this subject.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the Czech history in minimal extent of secondary school curriculum.
