By presenting their diploma project, students show that they have acquired the necessary knowledge in particular areas of a specific issue related to the topic of the diploma project. At the same time, they confirm their ability to work with specialized and pedagogical literature, and with other information resources, which they should correctly cite in accordance with valid standards of citation.

By presenting their diploma project, students show that they have acquired the necessary knowledge in particular areas of a specific issue related to the topic of the diploma project. At the same time, they confirm their ability to work with specialized and pedagogical literature, and with other information resources, which they should correctly cite in accordance with valid standards of citation. Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s náležitostmi vytváření diplomové práce, a to jak z hlediska obsahového, tak formálního a stylistického. Na základě stanovení vlastní problémové oblasti vytvářené práce jsou studenti seznamováni s metodikou stanovování cílů práce pro teoretickou a praktickou část. Pozornost je rovněž věnována základům metodiky pedagogického výzkumu. Po absolvování předmětu by studenti měli být schopni: - znát a aktivně používat aktuální citační normu ISO 690, - vyhledávat zdroje v elektronických databázích, - znát základy pedagogického výzkumu - sběr dat a statistické zpracování, - interpretovat vybrané odborné texty, kriticky posuzovat a třídit poznatky z domácí i zahraniční literatury a zdrojů, - sestavit prezentaci k obhajobě kvalifikační práce (obsahující klíčové body, problémové oblasti a způsoby jejího řešení).
