Course content
|
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and practical skills for effective usage of ICT at schools. ICT definitions and division, types of media, networks, network operating systems, internet, signal transport, high speed communication, etc.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to provide students with sufficient practical knowledge for effective uses of information technologies in kindergartens. Special attention is given to progressive information technologies of today, such as computers. Additional contents of the subject include a basic orientation in computer networks (particularly in respect to the graduate's background) and the fundamental structures of PC hardware and software.
On completion of the course, students should be able to: define basic terms used in IT and explain relations between them; be familiar with basic structure of computer networks, and with computer hardware and software.
