Course content
|
The subject covers the following topics: Principal Czech regulations applicable to health and safety at work emphasizing the area of schooling, general requirements on work safety, first aid rules, fire protection, work hygiene, work safety operating machinery, safety regulations applicable to electrical engineering, inspections and checks of hand electric tools and inspection of electrical appliances.

Learning outcomes
|
The students are expected, in their future profession to be actively using technical devices. Not only is it necessary that they are familiar with functions of the devices and machines, but primarily, they should be familiar with safety of work with the devices and appliances, and health protection.
The student will be capable to explain the basic concepts of occupational safety
