Overview of hypotheses about the phylogeny of animals. Historical concepts Protozoa, Diblastica, Triblastica (= Bilateralia), and Protostomia Deuterostomia, Acoelomata, Pseudocoelomata, coelom. Comparative morphology of the Metazoa, the position within the Metazoa Eukaryota. Overview of theories mnohobuněčnosti. Phylogenetic hypotheses based on molecular data. Extension of animals in the present and the past as a result of processes of evolution, extinction and dispersion. Tectonics Earth's plates and continental drift, historical zoogeography, the theory of island biogeography, zoogeography examined with cladistic, zoogeographical region.
