Course content
History of animal classification, and current hypotheses on phylogeny of invertebrates. Principal body plans of invertebrates. Diagnoses, distribution, biology, ecology and economic importance individual groups - "Archezoa" (Archamoebae, Metamonada, Microspora, Parabasala), Protozoa (Alveolata, Sarcodina, Euglenozoa) and invertebrate Metazoa [Porifera, Placozoa, Cnidaria, Myxozoa, Ctenophora, Triploblastica - Acoela, Nemertodermatida, Mesosoa, Rhabditophora (incl. Neodermata), Syndermata, Gastrotricha, Ecdysozoa (incl. Nematoda a Arthropoda), Ectoprocta, Deuterostomia pars, Lophophorata, Trochozoa (incl. Nemertea, Mollusca, Annelida)].
