Zoological branch chordates (Chordata) :characteristic features and bodily organization of chordates, phylogenesis of the branch and history of evolution of vertebrates, overview of the organization of the branch. Introduction to the zoogeography of vertebrates. The importance of vertebrates for humans, measures regarding the protection of the biodiversity of vertebrates in the Czech Republic and abroad. Recognition of vertebrates, determination features of the most important species, auditory recognition of voices of vertebrates that are found in the Czech Republic (amphibians, birds, mammals). The signs of presence of vertebrates in the field. Instructions to practical activities with elementary school pupils regarding active protection oh vertebrates. Zoological gardens, Natura 2000.
