Subject focuses on field examples of life in Central-European wetland habitats. Field excursions are set to several study plots. The education implemented "holistic" ecological focus on interactions among water organisms and their environment, including the overall roles of wetlands in the landscape. Discussed model species related to wetland habitats come from different taxonomic areas as are single-celled organisms, plants, fungi, invertebrate animals and vertebrates.
