Introduction to Ecology, the position of ecology in science, basic ecological concepts. Organism and environment. Abiotic factors, adaptation of organisms. Populations, communities, ecosystems. The flow of energy and materials, basic biochemical cycles. The biosphere as a global ecosystem of Earth, zonal and azonal biomes, the variability of organisms depending on the latitude and altitude. Fundamentals of Human Ecology, anthropogenic factors, global problems of the Earth. Environmental Education.
